Sharon & Alistair welcome you aboard SHAZALI
"Hi my name is Alistair I'll be your skipper for the day".

At an early age my brother and I had a little rowing boat we used to play in, in my teenage years I would go water skiing with my friends, so really it all began from there. Boating is great , being on the water is fun and yet relaxing.

At 22yrs old shortly after getting married to my lifetime partner and crew member Sharon, we embarked on a unforgettable journey of delivering three Dutch built boats down from Holland via the canal system into the UK while being taught by qualified professional RYA skippers. The first part of this journey was a massive learning curve for us both , at 22 and 19 years old this was an enormous experience and responsibility.
Once the boats had been fitted out we then crossed back over the English Channel into the French canal system, but this time we were on our own crossing the whole of France to eventually arrive at Sete. From here we travelled along the East Mediterranean coast line of France and Spain to finally arrive into La Manga del Menor on the Costa Calida , the final resting place for the boats. At this point we realised .... "we like this"
As the years went by being involved with boats of all types and living in Spain most of our lives, I thought it was only right to hold a Spanish skippers licence so after lots of studying and numerous exams I succeeded to obtain the highest level pleasure boat licence of "Capitan de Yate" (Yacht Master Ocean) in 2005.​
Dealing with the public with our parent company Benicabo Property Management S.L which offers accommodation to holiday makers in private apartments and villas it made perfect sense to include boating as part of a luxury offering that we could all enjoy, so after various exams once more to obtain internationally recognized "STCW Certificates" and an intense Spanish Legislation exam, this allowed me to become a fully qualified Professional Skipper and instructor, known as "PPER" Sharon followed suit and has become a qualified Professional Deck Hand crew member.
